What this compares to
A full-time CFO runs $150K to $300K a year in salary alone, and you do not need that level of commitment until somewhere north of $15M to $20M in revenue. Until then, fractional is the strategic move rather than the cheap one.
Salary only. A full-time hire also carries payroll taxes, benefits, bonus and the cost of recruiting for the seat.
Pricing questions
Transaction volume, how many accounts and entities you run, the state of the books when we start, and whether payroll and receivables are in scope. I look at all of it during the Clarity Session and quote you a number before you commit to anything.
Your fee is locked at the price quoted during your Clarity Session and held for twelve months. It may adjust at renewal if the scope of your business changes significantly, and we discuss that before it happens. You will never get a surprise invoice.
Engagements are month-to-month after a three-month onboarding period. Those first three months are the heaviest lifting: scrubbing data, building your forecast, and learning your business. After that you continue or exit with thirty days notice.
Not necessarily. I assess the state of your books during the free Clarity Session and fold any catch-up work into the quoted price up front. If the cleanup is large enough to change the number, you hear it then, not after you have signed.
Yes, and most clients do exactly that. Starting at Foundation gets your data clean first, which makes the forecasting work considerably more accurate when you get to it. Upgrading is seamless.
Yes. We engage at the CFO level and work alongside your existing bookkeeper. There is a data review first, so I can trust the numbers before building your forecast, but you do not have to change your bookkeeping setup.
A free thirty-minute Financial Clarity Session. I review your books, tell you exactly what I see, point out your biggest profit levers, and quote you a flat price. No obligation and no pitch.
No contracts to sign. No homework beforehand. Bring your questions.
